Not even a year after Rhein Fire’s September 25th 2021 revival, just in time for the last game of the 2022 season, the Heat Club went live. This collaboration between tap2link and Rhein Fire not only offers its own fan profile but also exclusive benefits that can be redeemed with the NFC card. Thanks to tap2link powered membership processing, Rhein Fire has gained a smart way to manage memberships without significant effort and can now give their fans a way to actively participate in the club’s events and day-to-day activities.
THE day finally happened on the last day of the 2022 season: first Black-Membership cards were distributed amongst Rhein Fire fans. Newly introduces Black Members were allowed to take a look behind the scenes and received their card from the head coach which for most fans was the first time being so close to the action. After the Go Live event, over 100 fans joined the Heat Club, showing their deep affinity for Rhein Fire.
The Heat Club consists of three membership cards: Fire, Silver, and Black Edition. These offer every fan segment a chance to be part of the team. Each member can set up their own profile via tap2link and is connected to the Rhein Fire profile. The card directs to the profile via an NFC chip, but can also be used in the Rhein Fire Fan Store showing exactly which benefits are available for a specific member. With this collaboration, tap2link takes over the complete task of member management, membership fees are collected and compiled by tap2link and the club only receives a uniform bill at the end of the month. Thus, Rhein Fire can concentrate on the essentials: football. With the tap2link technology, admissions to special fan events can also be regulated and in addition to individual profiles for employees, there are plans to spice up the member profiles in the future and to offer fans and the team an unmatched experience!
