In a dedicated effort to create a positive impact on the environment, we have partnered with Oceanmata, an inspiring project driven by passion, which focuses on offering everyday use products such as phone cases, jewelry, clothing, and more, all made from ocean plastic. Together, we have embarked on the development of a collection of cards that seamlessly blend sustainability with technology. Our shared vision for a greener future has led us to take important strides in reducing plastic waste and actively contributing to the protection of the oceans.
Our tap2link NFC-powered cards are already crafted from recycled plastic, demonstrating our commitment to eco-friendliness, however, we are eager to push the boundaries of sustainability even further. As part of our ongoing journey, we are exploring the use of ocean plastic in the production of these versatile networking solutions. By incorporating ocean plastic, we not only strive to create more environmentally-friendly cards but also shed light on the pressing issue of pollution. For the inaugural Oceanmata x tap2link collection, however, the cards will continue to be made from recycled plastic. This decision allows us to assess market response and better understand how customers engage with the product.
With this first collection, we are also aligning ourselves with the established turtle partnership, offering an additional incentive for choosing Oceanmata x tap2link cards. This partnership will be prominently displayed in the digital profiles associated with each card, allowing users to proudly showcase their involvement in this vital movement. By carrying an Oceanmata card, individuals symbolize their support for turtle conservation and the preservation of marine life.
Looking ahead, our vision is to produce all our cards using ocean plastic, while actively contributing to environmental protection.
